Course content outline:
In the course of this tasting, I, Katia Zentner (olive oil Sensory Analyst, born and raised in Spain), will take you on a little journey to Spain' best olive groves and mills.
We will then focus on olive oil tasting and you will be introduced into the fascinating world of sensory analysis. You will learn how to taste olive oil and what to look for when tasting.
In addition, you will get an overview of the health benefits of extra virgin olive oil and tipps on how you to introduce extra virgin olive oil in your cooking to refine your dishes.
We will explore and taste together and you will discover the versatility and beauty of an authentic extra virgin olive oil.
Languages: German, English or Spanish
You will be given a starter kit with a tasting pack of award-winning extra virgin olive oils from Spain's top producers, and documentation with recipes and details about the olive oils in the tasting pack, as well as a small surprise. We finish off the workshop with a glass of cava or wine and some Tapas.
