New Year's Eve in Spain
Do you know the Spanish tradition on New Year's Eve? As the clock strikes midnight on New Year's Eve, the Spanish eat 12 green grapes with each chime.
The tradition of the "Lucky Grapes" dates back as far as 1895. There are varying theories as to how the whole tradition started. In any case, it doesn't matter where you are, you can always join in.
Very Important: make sure you finish all the grapes before the 12th chime, buy small, seedless grapes and don't forget to make a wish with every grape. ¡Felíz Año Nuevo!
